Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Harbor mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Starry Ambition LLC. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Harbor

Harbor is an information tool that helps immigrants in the United States track their USCIS case status in their native language, follow the Visa Bulletin and priority dates, and prepare for the citizenship test.

2. Not Legal Advice (Important)

Harbor is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice or legal services. Status explanations, form and term descriptions, AI explanations, and all other content are general information about official sources only — they are not advice about your specific case and do not tell you what you "should" do. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed immigration attorney.

3. No Government Affiliation

Harbor is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by USCIS, the U.S. Department of State, or any other U.S. government agency. Official government names and marks are used only to describe publicly available data.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (and the age of majority where required) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for the accuracy of the information you add.

5. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and only for your own legitimate immigration-tracking purposes, to add only information you are authorized to add, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

6. Data Sources and Accuracy

Case status comes from the official USCIS API; Visa Bulletin, policy and other data come from official public sources such as the U.S. Department of State and the Federal Register. This data may be delayed or change, and we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or timely. Always rely on your official notices and the official sources.

7. Statistical and AI Features

Estimates such as "advancement speed" or "approximately how long until your turn," and AI-generated explanations, are general, historical, statistics-based information only. They are not a promise, a prediction, or legal advice, and they do not concern the outcome of any individual case.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design and original content, is owned by Harbor and protected by law. Government data displayed in the Service remains subject to its official sources. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties (such as Apple, Google, Cloudflare, Anthropic and U.S. government APIs). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starry Ambition LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Harbor from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Harbor is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
